When people describe New Orleans you hear words like "crazy" or "wild," and if you've ever visited or partied there, you know that they were not kidding. The Hustler Club is a series of bars and chain of go-go clubs owned by Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt. Flynt was discharged from the Navy in where he had served as a radar operator. After this stint in the Navy he worked in manufacturing jobs including one at a General Motors factory in Dayton, Ohio.
The New York outpost of the strip club chain charged W. The club's staff allegedly "wrongfully served [Ilg] excess alcoholic beverages" on May 24 and into the wee hours of May 25, getting him so drunk that he "was no longer capable of conducting financial transactions. Ilg later demanded a refund for the hefty bill, but couldn't get the bar to give him the money back.
